Jan 4 - The Baltimore Orioles today signed Damon Buford as minor league director. He will see over all minor league operations. Damon Buford replaces Tom Treblehorn. Tom was made director of organizational instruction. Buford was previously assitant director of player development and he played for the Orioles. Also the Baltimores Orioles signed Tripp Norton as assitant director of minor league operations. Tripp Norton was player development administrator since 1998.
